Gratitude

It's that time of year when everyone reflects on what they are thankful for in life. I can say that i am thankful for many things in my life. First off i am thankful for the family in which i have been brought up in. My family is pretty close and we are all involved in each others lives. My mom has done a very fine job in raising me, and it definitely shows. She has done everything for me and supports me with almost everything i do. I can always count on her when i need her. I am also thankful for the way my life has gone and the choices that i have made. My life has been good and i continue to keep it that way. This time of year is very fun and jolly because the holidays make it a fun exiting ,enjoyable time for all of us. A mater of fact thanksgiving is actually my favorite time of year. Every thanksgiving i go to my grandparents and we have a bunch of family over there with lots of food and of course get to watch football. Which is one of my favorite things to do on thanksgiving. But the real reason i like it, is because we get to hang around all the fun family members, that we don't usually get to see. Its just a fun family get-together and we even occasionally get to play little games. this time of year really does show me , that i should be thankful for everything in my life.

My hero is...

My hero is Tim Tebow! Tim is a Hiesman trophy winning football quarterback for the Florida gators. Who also to mention have won the national championship 2 times in the past 4 years. they are looking like they are headed to the National College football championship game again for this year as well.He was the first college football quarterback to rush and throw for 20 tds in a season. Tebow is so inspirational to me because not only des he posses the qualities of arguably the best player to ever play in college football. He also is such a wonderful person outside of football. Tebow spends every summer in the phillipines helping in his dads orphanage and missionary work.

this imovie project.

This imovie art project was very fun to the point and easy. I have used i movie before but definitely learned a lot more on how to use it and the different things that can be done with it. For this imovie project we had to pick a popular/famous artist and make a presentation on them using imovie. The project presentations were pretty short but straight forward and we learned a lot about each others artists. The artist i choose was Rembrandt Van Rijn. He was born July 16,1606 in the Netherlands. He was a Dutch painter and etcher. He was considered one of the greatest painters and print makers in European history. His contributions to art came in the Golden Dutch era. His etchings and paintings were popular throughout his lifetime, his reputation as an artist remained high. Remembrands greatest creative triumphs are exemplified especially in his portraits of his contemporaries , self-portraits and illustrations from scenes from the bible. This project showed us how important these artists were and are to society. It also shows that Art can be expressed in many different ways and each person has their own uniqueness about themselves.

The economy

The economy right now is insane. Things have almost gotten out of control. As a high school senior i am now starting to realize everything with expenses. Gas has risen to an all-time high $4.50 last year and now is about $2.50. That means its costing me about 35.00 a week just driving to school and back everyday. Just imagine how the price of gas and other things will be when are children are in this point in time of their lives. All the money i get just goes straight for gas. this is definitely a problem. I just don't get to spend money for myself on things i would like to buy and this economy just completely ruins everything. As a senior we have allot of money we have to spend. We have the SAT'S, and the ACTS, and those alone are like 45 bucks each. Let alone how many times you plan on taking it, and an additional 20 bucks for the late fee if you procrastinate. We also have are senior fees which are like $90, grad night which is $110, and prom that is $55. So all these things for us really add up. Not only is it bad for us as seniors, but just think about all those innocent people that got laid off. They now have no job and in this bad economy having a job is like filing for bankruptcy. It is just ridiculous how bad this economy has gotten today.

The most evil character in macbeth is....

There is always an evil character in every story. Most of the time its pretty easy to identify this person. But in Macbeth some may say its either Macbeth himself or his wife Lady Macbeth. Even though some may think that Macbeth is the most evil since he is the one who goes through with the killing, its clear that Lady Macbeth is the true evil character. Lady Macbeth is just a wicked woman who is willing to do whatever it takes to have her and her husband rise up with power. Lady Macbeth is so evil she convinces Macbeth to kill his best friend Duncan so he will become king. Who in their right mind would do such a thing? Lady Macbeth has other people do the dirty work for her which is actually even worse, because she doesn't have the guts and dignity to do things herself. After the death of king Duncan, lady Macbeth thinks that everything is fine and dandy even though Macbeth does kinda regret the death of his friend king Duncan. All because of Lady Macbeth and her manipulative ways about her things have worsened and the whole for Macbeth has gotten so deep just like he says" The blood I have walked into has gotten to deep to wade in now, and there is no escaping " Lady Macbeth doesn't think about the consequences that she creates. She just does whatever is best for her at that point in time. She has created a huge mess for Macbeth and others and doesn't regret one bit of it. Lady Macbeth is definitely the most evil person in Macbeth, and all the evidence is there to prove it.

Macbeth

Macbeth is a lot like Hitler, because Macbeth wants to be able to whatever it takes to satisfy himself. Even if its not morally right. Hitler was a very cruel man and all he thought about was himself, just as Macbeth does. They both possess power and are very odd in the way they think and go about doing things. Macbeth and hitler are very different then most people which makes them so alike. Macbeth is so greedy for power he is actually willing to kill his best friend just to be king. Although he was probably going to already be king in a few years, he was that hungry for the power now. And hitler had this much greed himself, that he killed millions of people so his power could over-take everyone.
